The PlayStation 4 is an upcoming video game console from Sony Computer Entertainment announced its much-rumored next video game console, the PlayStation 4. Sony Computer Entertainment prez and CEO Andrew House unveiled the console with little more than a logo and a handful of concepts, though he did say it's coming in holiday 2013. interms of specifications the PS4 has an 8-core 64-bit x86 "Jaguar" CPU from AMD and a Radeon GPU with 18 "compute units" pushing 1.84 TFLOPS of horsepower. It features a faster 6X Blu-ray Disc drive, 802.11n WiFi, USB 3.0, Bluetooth 2.1, HDMI, optical out, analog AV out, PS4 include 8 GB of unified memory.
Prepare to be amazed as the DUALSHOCK 4 controller combines with the PlayStation 4 camera to create brand new experiences. Look out for in-built motion sensors, more precise dual analog sticks and touch controls. Add in a dual lens camera which can sense the depth of the environment in front of it and track the location of the controller for boundless gaming possibilities.

PlayStation 4 Eye
The PlayStation Eye has been redesigned. It will include two 1280×800px cameras. The lenses will operate with an aperture of f/2.0, with 30 cm focusing distance, and an 85° field of view. The dual camera setup will allow for different modes of operation, depending on the target application. The two cameras can be used together for depth-sensing of objects in its field of vision, akin to the Microsoft Kinect. Alternatively, one of the cameras can be used for generating the video image, with the other used for motion tracking.
